Premudhi is an Attorney at Law from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has completed her tertiary education in the United Kingdom. She holds a LLB (Honors) from the University of Buckingham, UK, and Bar Vocational Course (Barristers) from Holborn College in London, UK. Thereafter, she was posted as a Counsellor and the Head of Labour Division at the Sri Lanka Consulate in Dubai and Northern Emirates where she served for four and a half years. She took oaths as an Attorney at Law in 2018.

Premudhi came to New Zealand in March 2019 to pursue a Master of Laws at Auckland University of Technology. She joined the immigration industry in late 2019 and became a Licensed Immigration Adviser in December 2020. She has a full license and deals with all types of visa categories.
